Minority Health Awareness Month is an opportunity to highlight the health disparities faced by minority groups, including racial and ethnic minorities, LGBTQ+ individuals, and those with disabilities. These communities often experience higher rates of chronic diseases, mental health issues, and lack access to quality healthcare. The theme for this year’s Minority Health Awareness Month is “Active and Healthy,” emphasizing the importance of physical activity and healthy lifestyles.

Similarly, STI Awareness Month aims to educate the public about sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and promote prevention strategies.
